As a teenager, I dreamed of becoming a National Geographic photographer, a dream that led me to the University of Georgia to study Art, where I fell in love with the magic of the darkroom. Photography is still one of the great loves of my life, right alongside my love for my husband, Joseph, and our five amazing sons. We love going on adventures together, and a recent trip to Kenya captured my heart with its extraordinary wildlife, sweeping landscapes, and breathtaking sunsets - reminders of God’s creative hand. When I’m not photographing nature, I’m photographing people - families, newborns, children, and seniors, in and around Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, where we are grateful to call home.
