Arrive in Nairobi, where you will begin and end your safari.
Depending on your international flight times, you will likely spend one full day here either at the start or end of your trip.

Wildlife -“The World’s Only Wildlife Capital”. Visit Nairobi National Park or one of Nairobi’s world-famous animal sanctuaries such as the Giraffe Centre, Elephant Orphanage, Nairobi Safari Walk, Snake Park, and Karura Forest.
Culture - Experience the city’s cultural and arts scene with a visit to an art gallery or collective, artisanal market, the National Museum or Karen Blixen Museum, or sample its world-class restaurants.
SAMBURU
NAIROBI - SAMBURU 1.5H (AIR)
Depart from bustling Nairobi and journey to Kenya’s vast, arid, and semi-arid north. Palm groves, riverine forests, dry bushland, and Mount Kenya views make Samburu the jewel of Kenya’s expansive northern wilderness.
Explore - Samburu National Reserve stretches along the Ewaso Nyiro River, which acts as a magnet for wildlife in search of water, vegetation, and prey. It is a haven for elephants as well as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Rare Wildlife - It is also home to the Northern Special Five species (Grevy zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and the Beisa oryx). This is a unique group of rare and beautiful animals native to this region of Kenya.

MAASAI MARA
SAMBURU - MAASAI MARA 1.5H (AIR)
Depart from Samburu early in the morning for your journey to the Maasai Mara. Located in southwest Kenya.
Exceptional Landscapes - The Mara is one of the great wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, abundant, and easy to see. The vast plains stretch south to Tanzania’s Serengeti. This famed safari reserve and its surrounding conservancies promise unparalleled wildlife viewing, set against a backdrop of rolling grassland, hills, riverine forests, and acacia bushland.
The Great Migration - One of Kenya’s most sought-after experiences. Millions of animals, most notably wildebeest, follow this age-old circular route, traversing the Serengeti - Mara ecosystem in search of fresh grazing and water (this is a season-specific experience).
The Big Five - Search for the iconic Big Five (lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, and rhinos) along with zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, ostriches, impalas, gazelles, hippos, and countless other species.

LAMU

Take in one last Mara sunrise before your scenic drive to Nairobi. You will then take a short flight to Lamu, Kenya’s enchanting Indian Ocean archipelago, where you will round off your best-of-both-worlds safari.
Touchdown on Manda Island from where you will be taken by boat across the channel to Lamu’s Old Town, and onward to your hotel.
Tropical Mystique - Discover the charming combination of ancient history and tropical paradise of Lamu – one of the best-preserved Swahili settlements in East Africa. Lamu is an intoxicating mix of idyllic, tropical beaches, a bustling Old Town, delicious seafood, and long-standing traditions that fuse the island’s Arabic and African heritage.
Relax and Restore - Lamu’s slow and easy-going pace makes it the perfect place to complement your adventurous safari legs. Enjoy the slow pace in a town with no cars and take a cruise around the archipelago on a dhow, a traditional Swahili sailing boat used for fishing and trade.
